Jennalyn Julve is a Certified Medical Assistant with hands-on experience in both clinical and educational settings. She has worked at Overlake Medical Center’s Cardiology Department, where she gained valuable expertise in patient care, clinical procedures, and supporting a fast-paced medical team. Known for her focus, efficiency, and compassionate approach, Jennalyn is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of her patients.

In addition to her work in healthcare, Jennalyn also serves as a floating part-time teacher, where she brings her dedication and attention to detail into the classroom. Her dual roles reflect her commitment to continuous learning and contributing meaningfully to both the medical and educational communities.

Jennalyn thrives in environments that challenge her skills and allow her to support others, whether it’s in a clinic or a classroom.

Amy Carnell brings over two decades of compassionate healthcare experience to her role as a Certified Surgical Technologist, having graduated from Renton Technical College. With a 24-year background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Amy has worked across a wide range of specialties including Alzheimer’s care, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and obstetrics.

Her diverse experience includes working in retirement homes, where she managed key responsibilities such as blood sugar monitoring and medication administration, as well as at Evergreen Hospital and Medical Center, where she served patients with professionalism and empathy.

Currently, Amy is a vital part of the team at Evergreen Surgical Center, where she supports surgical procedures alongside Dr. Kristin Tarbet and other additional surgeons in the surgery center, and also contributes her skills in the clinic part-time. Amy’s extensive background and passion for patient care make her a trusted and valuable member of the surgical and clinical teams.

Stephanie Rui Tong Guo is a dedicated Medical Scribe and Study Coordinator who works closely with Dr. Kristin Tarbet, supporting both clinical documentation and research initiatives with precision and professionalism. Known for her efficiency, organization, and attention to detail, Stephanie plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations and study coordination.

Currently enrolled at the University of Washington, Stephanie is actively preparing to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. Her passion for medicine, combined with her strong academic foundation and hands-on experience, reflects her commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing in the healthcare field.

Charlize Gougouniani is the warm and welcoming face you’ll see when you arrive at the clinic and the helpful voice you’ll hear when calling our medical line. As our Front Desk Coordinator, Charlize ensures every patient experience runs smoothly from start to finish. She studied Media and Communications at the University of Washington, bringing a strong background in communication and customer service to her role.

Charlize thrives on problem-solving, creating a positive atmosphere, and making sure patients feel heard and supported. She is also fluent in Russian, allowing her to assist a broader range of patients with ease and professionalism.

Outside of the clinic, Charlize enjoys road trips, camping, and exploring new places—always seeking out the next adventure.

Ian Espejo brings several years of experience in both the medical and cosmetic industries to his role as Patient Care Coordinator. With a strong background in customer service and a foundation as a trained cosmetologist, Ian combines his organizational skills with a genuine passion for the aesthetic and beauty field.

His attention to detail and commitment to patient satisfaction ensure that every individual feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their care journey. Ian’s warm personality and industry knowledge make him a trusted point of contact for both new and returning patients.
