Seattle Wrinkle treatment

Wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin can make an individual look tired and worn out when they are not; and it is common for many men and women with superficial signs of facial aging to enhance their appearance with cosmetic surgery. Kristin J. Tarbet, M.D., F.A.C.S., a Bellevue wrinkle treatment provider, offers minimally invasive and non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments. She and her friendly, compassionate staff have more than 15 years of experience helping individuals in the Seattle and Kirkland WA area achieve a more defined, revitalized appearance.

Seattle Wrinkle Treatment

If you are seeking younger, more invigorating facial skin, you can choose from various non-surgical treatments, such as injectables and fillers, to achieve your desired look. Fillers vary in longevity, permanency, and location. Based upon your aesthetic goals and facial structure, Dr. Tarbet will personalize your cosmetic treatment.

Radiesse ®, formerly known as Radiance ®, is offered at Dr. Tarbet's Seattle, Washington practice. This is a long-lasting injectable filler designed to fill in wrinkles or depressions in the skin. Using a needle, this gel-like material made of calcium hydroxlapatite is injected into the wrinkle or scar, filling in the targeted area.  The results from Radiesse are almost immediate and can last up to 18 months.

Juvederm ® and Restylane ® are other injectable options, which are made up of hyaluronic acid, a natural molecule found in most of our bodies. Both of these dermal fillers are designed to add volume and smooth out wrinkles; they are also commonly used for lip enhancement. Washington Juvederm treatment provider Dr. Tarbet uses tiny needles to inject these fillers into the target area; almost instantly, wrinkles and nasolabial folds are filled in. Typically, these injections require repeat treatment every six months to a year in order to maintain optimal results.

Another Seattle wrinkle treatment option is Sculptra ®, offered by Dr. Tarbet at her Bellevue practice; this treatment works by correcting the signs of lipotrophy, or fat loss, of the face. An ideal candidate for this procedure is someone who has a loss of collagen and fat tissue due to damage or scarring caused by injury or disease. Consisting of poly-L-lactic-acid, Sculptra works by stimulating new collagen production, which thickens the skin; in essence, this filler restores volume and re-contours sunken areas. Sculptra results typically last up to two years.

Dr. Tarbet can provide you with more information about dermal fillers during an initial consultation. She also offers Botox ®, an injectable treatment for wrinkles in the forehead, around the eyes and between the brows, as well as the QuickLift ™, a less invasive facelift ("rhytidectomy") option.

"I continue to research and assess the newest technological and procedural innovations in my field in order to fully educate my patients."
